RFID ticketing - now even more secure

LAB ID has updated its product line optimised for trasport (ticketing) sector and introduced an enhanced version with NXP's Mifare Ultralight C.

The new products, ISO 14443A compliant and fully compatible with NXP Mifare Ultralight, can be easily integrated in existing RFID ticketing applications based on earlier generation of NXP ICs. In addition, they offer numerous advantages in terms of security features.

Among the most important characteristics of the new tags is 1536-bit memory, 3DES authentication and an effective cloning protection that helps to prevent counterfeit of tickets.

More memory and enhanced security features open new possibilities to improve the quality of the service, also thanks to continuous interaction between the users and transportation system. This allows to better address passengers's requirements and improve their everyday transport experience.

LAB ID is constantly upgrading its offerings to guarantee customers the possibility to choose the very best solutions for their RFID applications. All of the LAB ID Mifare Ultralight inlays can be now enhanced with Mifare Ultralight C.

Bigliettazione elettronica - oggi ancora più sicura

LAB ID ha ampliato la propria gamma prodotti dedicata al mondo dei trasporti (ticketing) introducendo una versione con il chip di NXP Mifare Ultralight C.

La nuova linea prodotti, conforme allo standard ISO 14443A e compatibile con NXP Mifare Ultralight, permette immediata integrazione con i sistemi di bigliettazione contactless pre-esistenti, nello stesso tempo offrendo numerosi vantaggi in termini di sicurezza.

Tra le caratteristiche più importanti dei nuovi tag ci sono: la memoria estesa a 1536 bit, protezione dati grazie alla autenticazione 3DES e un efficace sistema "anti-cloning" che riduce la possibilità di frodi.

Più memoria e maggior sicurezza aprono nuove possibilità per migliorare la qualità del servizio, grazie anche alla continua interazione tra il passeggero con il sistema di trasporto. Questo permette di indirizzare in modo più preciso le richieste dei cittadini, rendendo più positiva l'esperienza quotidiana del viaggio.
